Best Anime in Spring 2024 Week 7
5. Spice & Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf
Rating: 7.95
This episode, Spice and Wolf continue the story with episode 7, where the story is even more interesting. After going through the trials and tribulations that traders go through in their business, this week traders can realize the difficulties in making money quickly. As one unfortunate trader learned, Holo's senses were too sharp, and attempts to trick Kraft were not very successful once the results of that sharpness were revealed. This is another nice development, as it not only shows how Kraft and Holo's relationship wasn't harmed by Kraft's actions last time but also how Holo is eager to fulfill her original goal.
In this episode, you can also see the next big story from the anime when Kraft explains the city of Ruvenheigen and the stakes in selling armor in it. We don't know yet what will happen in the future, whether the next journey will be as smooth as he thinks. It requires the same courage as previous big bets that will likely be difficult for both Kraft and Holo.
4. Wind Breaker
Rating: 8.09
After two consecutive wins obtained by Bofurin, the next fight was between Hiragi and Sako. Where the two of them seem to know each other, even though Hiragi doesn't say much. However, in their fight, both of them acknowledged each other, which shows that they had known each other before. Sako rushes in with an intense rush and then comments about Hiragi looking down on her. The fight animation is great, and there are a lot of cool punches that add to the tension in it.
Additionally, during the fight, it is revealed that Hiragi is one of the four kings of Bofurin, who heads a team known as Tamonten. Tamonten is also known as Bishamonten, who is the god of war who rules the battlefield. In this fight, there is a flashback that tells the story of Hiragi and Sako from when they first met.
Sako greatly admires Hiragi, but Hiragi tells her not to follow in his footsteps. He's doing it to try not let Sako down and push her on to greater things, but Sako is devastated by the whole thing. That's how Shishitoren gets it, because Sako only wants to fight the strong and become strong enough to beat Hiragi. The fight continues, and Hiragi apologizes to Sako for letting her down and then punches her to end the fight.
3. Kaiju No. 8
Rating: 8.17
This episode begins with Kafka and Ichikawa worrying about their exam results from the first test. But in the end, the two of them were able to escape together. While the other members were being appointed as officers, Shinomiya came forward to speak as a new member. Meanwhile, Kafka arrives late with a flashback that his grades for graduating are apparently low. Vice-captain Hoshina accepted him because of the knowledge and teamwork he provided during the exam, another reason was because he was cute. Kafka entered as a midshipman, not as an officer, but he was still happy to be there.
When Captain Ashiro was giving his speech, Kafka let slip and said he would immediately stand next to Mina until she was punished. Shinomiya, who still hasn't gotten an answer from Kafka, asks him to explain the situation of being a Kaiju in front of him. He asked Shinomiya to remain silent. In this episode, you can see how Ichikawa's abilities have become better in the training he has undergone. Even now Kafka has increased its power to 1%.

2. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hashira Training Arc
Rating: 8.22
The first episode begins with Sanemi and Obanai chasing a demon who is known to have kidnapped a woman. They came to the location of an old, abandoned castle house. This location is a gathering place for demons. During the fight where Sanemi and Obanai tried to chase him, they accidentally found Infinity Castle, which is the place where the final battle of this series will be. After what happened to Nezuko, the demon hunters started to prepare because Muzan would chase Nezuko to get her power. The Hashira held a meeting with Ubiyashiki Kagaya, who this time could not attend in person but was represented by Amane.
This meeting discussed the appearance of unique spots on Mitsuri and Muichiro when they carried out their previous mission. Amane asked for an explanation as to how these spots could appear on the two of them. Because so far the signs that have appeared on the demon slayers have only been on Tanjiro. Hearing this, Kanroji and Tokito tried to explain how they felt the effects of their abilities when the mark appeared, and what they felt to be able to awaken the mark.
To face the next battle with Muzan, the Hashira agree to train other demon slayers. Except for Giyu who chose to leave for some reason. Gyomei also recommended that former Hashira, Uzui Tengen, join in training. This episode closes with Tamayo being found at her residence by Ubuyashiki. Even though he was worried about being killed, it turned out that this time Ubuyashiki invited Tamayo to work together to research Nezuko to be able to defeat Muzan.
