Netflix has just revealed the key visuals and release date for the 2nd season of the anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki's Rising Impact golf manga. The first season is scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on June 22nd 2024, while the second season will follow on August 6th 2024.

Suzuki, who is also known as the author of The Seven Deadly Sins, published the manga Rising Impact in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1998 to 2002. This manga was published in 17 volumes.

Netflix describes this anime as follows:

"The golf manga 'Rising Impact', by Nakaba Suzuki, author of the mega hit manga 'The Seven Deadly Sins', made its debut in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1998. Now, after 25 years, this story is finally being made into an anime! For two seasons, the series follows the journey of Gawain Nanaumi, a third grader, as he dives into the world of golf and competes with his rivals."

Michihiro Tsuchiya (screenwriter of "Bakuman.", "Major") will write the script, while character design will be handled by Kiyotaka Oshiyama (who was involved in "Chainsaw Man", "DEVILMAN crybaby", "Space Dandy") of Studio Durian . The music in the anime will be composed by Masaru Yokoyama (who is also responsible for the music in "Yowamushi Pedal", "Chihayafuru").

With exciting visual announcements and a release date set, anime fans can't wait to see Rising Impact on Netflix screens. With Suzuki's reputation having attracted many fans before, this anime is certain to be one of the most anticipated in the summer of 2024.
