Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc began airing on December 5, 2021. This Demon Slayer anime has received criticism from several social media users for displaying a controversial topic.

Prior to the premiere of season 2, some Japanese parents were worried about the fact that this arc will take place in the Red light district. The story takes place where there are many brothels, and parents don't want their children to see these kinds of places. To avoid criticism, the production crew changed the arc name from “Red light district” to “Entertainment District Arc”.

Reporting from Yaraon, the latest criticism is directed toward Hashira Tengen Uzui who has many partners. In the first episode of the arc, Tengen Uzui is introduced with his 3 wives. As a result, a Twitter user from Japan went viral for criticizing the Demon Slayer anime for showing polygamy and discrimination against women.

A Twitter user wrote: “Looks like the second season of the Kimetsu no Yaiba anime has started, but it makes me want to throw up when I find out that the protagonist, Tengen Uzui, is polygamous with three wives. A huge furor occurred only because of the fact that it was made in a brothel, however, did the producers want to promote discrimination against women? I can't help but think that they are deliberately trying to agitate feminists. This is the real protest."

The tweet was shared on several Japanese blogs and websites, where fans voiced their opinion on the matter and made it even more viral.

The Twitter user recently deleted the controversial tweet, and made the account private. However, this doesn't change the fact that the anime can get into trouble like this again. With its huge popularity and fan base, it's impossible for everyone to be satisfied with the anime. People will always have some kind of disatissfaction
