The story of this anime is about a group of heroes who have succeeded in defeating a demon king. The group consisting of the elf wizard Frieren, the dwarf warrior Eisen, the hero Himmel, and the priest Heiter returned to peace and solitude after defeating the demon king. They agreed to meet again decades later, which they did. However, Frieren's friends have aged, while Frieren remains unchanged.
