The official site for the upcoming anime Kaiju No. 8, now reveals the best trailer and character visuals featuring Soshiro Hoshina who will be voiced by Kengo Kawanishi. He is a character who will be a member of the Anti-Kaiju Defense Force in the upcoming anime series adapted from Naoya Matsumoto's shonen action science fiction manga. Previously, Kaiju No. 8 has also revealed several trailers and visuals for main characters Kafka, Reno, and Mina, and even revealed the theme song for the upcoming anime. Some of the voice actors in Kaiju No. 8 that have been announced include Masaya Fukunishi as Kafka Hibino/Kaiju No. 8, Wataru Kato as Reno Ichikawa, and Asami Seto as Mina Ashiro, and Fairouz Ai as Kikoru Shinomiya.

The original manga of Kaiju No. 8 by Naoya Matsumoto was serialized in Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ manga magazine. For the anime adaptation, Shigeyuki Miya will direct the anime Kaiju No. 8 at Production IG animation studio. The series also features series composition and script by Ichiro Okouchi, character designs and main animation direction by Tetsuya Nishio, kaiju designs by Mahiro Maeda, art direction by Shinji Kimura, and music by Yuta Bandoh.

Kaiju No. 8 takes place in a world tormented by the emergence of a massive kaiju intent on destroying humanity. The story follows a character named Kafka who gains the power to transform into one of the kaiju and begins to fight to protect humanity, but not everyone understands that this mysterious new kaiju is actually on their side. This anime will focus on a defense force tasked with eradicating kaiju from the face of the Earth.
