The staff of the Ohiru no Shocker-san anime from the Kamen Rider franchise announced on Thursday, 21 July 2022, that the anime will get a third season, which will start streaming through the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club on 4 August 2022. Ohiru no Shocker-san will also air within the Chara@Koe Bu program on Tokyo MX and TV Aichi, as well as GO!ABA program on Asahi Broadcasting Aomori.

Hiroto Sasaki and the LINE LIVE audition winner, Miku Aone, will perform the theme song for Ohiru no Shocker-san’s new season, "Nakayoshi Shocker-san no Uta." Aside from that, Ohiru Shocker-san The Movie will air on Friday, 22 July 2022 alongside a Kamen Rider Revice/Avataro Sentai Donbrothers movie.

The first season of Ohiru no Shocker-san debuted through the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club on 11 January 2022 and premiered on TV on 20 January. The second season of Ohiru no Shocker-san premiered on 21 April 2022. Kachidoki Studio’s Hiroshi Namiki is directing the anime series, whereas Yu Saito takes charge as the audio director, and CHANCE iN covers the Audio Production. The music in the anime is composed by Hiroto Sasaki. And the seiyuu Tomokazu Seki is credited for the sound effects.

Study Yu-saku also writes the Ohiru no Shocker-san manga, which launched at the same time as the announcement of the anime on 11 November 2021. Both the manga and anime celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Kamen Rider franchise.

The manga focuses on the everyday struggles of the lackeys of Shocker, the villain organization in the Kamen Rider series. The anime was first announced on 11 November or 11/11, also named "Iiii Day", which is a wordplay of the Shockers’ unique cry.

The anime project accepted auditions for singers for the anime's theme song through the LINE LIVE live streaming app, as well as voice acting auditions for a Shocker lackey through the voice acting live streaming app Voice Connect.
