Suicide Squad will get an anime adaptation. This was announced directly by Warner Bros Japan and Wit Studio at Anime Expo on Monday (03/07) yesterday. This latest anime series is titled 'Suicide Squad ISEKAI' which is based on the famous DC Comics. Eri Osada will direct the anime through Wit Studio. While Wit Studio is an anime studio known for producing several popular anime such as Spy x Family, Attack on Titan, The Ancient Magus' Bride, to the upcoming SPY×FAMILY Code: White.

It's actually quite normal for an anime to get a live-action adaptation or vice versa, several titles that have also been adapted into live-action from animations such as Alice in Wonderland and The Chronicles of Narnia have proven to be successful.
