The gaming world this month will be more interesting after the giant tech company, Apple, announces their subscription gaming service. The service is called Apple Arcade, this service will launch on September 19, with subscription fee of $4.99 or around Rp70,000 per month.

By subscribing to Apple Arcade, you will get an access to more than 100 games, some of them are exclusive games that you can only get on Apple Arcade. To be able to play the games on Apple Arcade, you don’t need to be connected on internet, you can download the games that you want and play it offline.

Later, Apple Arcade can be played on various of Apple devices such as iPhone, iPad, Mac and also Apple TV. Besides in their home country, United States, Apple also promises that Apple Arcade will also be available on 150 countries.

To attract potential customers, Apple will give a one-month free trial for Apple Arcade. If you feel like the subscription fee for Apple Arcade is too expensive, Apple explained that one Apple Arcade account can be used for 6 family members, so you can have a joint subscription with your siblings or even your parents.

“We think customers of all ages are going to be delighted that a single subscription gives the whole family unlimited access to the full catalog of amazing Apple Arcade games, all without any ads or additional purchases, while knowing every game must meet Apple’s high privacy standards.” said Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, Phil Schiller at Apple Event on Wednesday (11/9).

At the same event, Apple showcased some of the exclusive games that will be available on Apple Arcade. Those games are Frogger in Toy Town by Konami, Shinsekai: Into The Depths by Capcom and also Sayonara Wild Hearts from indie studio Annapurna Interactive.

From the demonstration shown on stage, the three games look promising. In terms of graphics all of the three games look much better than the majority of free games that already exist in the iOS App Store or Play Store on Android.
