2. Netflix Series The Legend of Zelda - Nintendo
Nintendo recently confirmed that they are canceling the production of the Legend of Zelda live-action series. The news came after a TV host, Adam Conover, revealed rumors about the live-action series The Legend of Zelda through an interview with The Seft Times.
But long before Nintendo canceled work on the live-action series The Legend of Zelda. It turns out that in 2015, there was a joke about a Netflix series with a theme of The Legend of Zelda. Apparently, the joke was made by Smosh YouTube channel to celebrate April Fool.
3. PlayStation Flow - Sony
In 2015, Sony also apparently took part in the April Fool's Day joke. Where they once announced a goggle-shaped device that provides a playing experience like swimming. The device is called PlayStation Flow and has a powerful feature that can detect motion such as swimming and will be implemented later in the game. So that players don't need to go to the pool to experience swimming.

4. Choco-Go - Square Enix
In 2016, Square Enix also made a very unique April Fools joke. Through Final Fantasy XIV's YouTube channel, they announced an online transportation application called Choco-Go. Like the Gojek or Grab application, the Choco-Go application from Square Enix also provides easy transportation with just a touch of a smartphone. It's just that this application does not provide vehicles such as motorbikes or cars, but Chocobos, which are the iconic riding animals in the Final Fantasy franchise. In this 1 minute 32 second video, they believe that Choco-Go can be a low-emission transportation solution.
5. GeForce GTX G-Assist - Nvidia
1 April 2017 was a historic day for Nvidia because they managed to deceive millions of gamers around the world. The reason is, Nvidia has "announced" a device called the GeForce GTX G-Assist, a USB drive that looks like a GTX series graphics card. Nvidia also claims that this device has artificial intelligence (AI) which is very helpful for gamers. With this technology, gamers don't have to bother playing constantly. The AI GhostPlay feature on the GeForce GTX G-Assist can move game characters very reliably.
This joke made by Nvidia makes many gamers hope that this thing really exists. Until finally Nvidia realized the gamer's desire by making a USB drive like the GeForce GTX G-Assist. Of course, this thing is without any advanced features, but only an ordinary USB drive that has a capacity of 64 GB only.
6. Grand Theft Auto TV Series on AMC
Grand Theft Auto is the best-selling game series in the world. Its success also made gamers ask Rockstar Games to make a live-action film version. Until 2017, the IGN YouTube channel uploaded a video trailer of the GTA live-action series that will air on the AMC station. 7. Fantasy Battle Royale - PUBG
On 1 April 2020, PUBG announced a unique mode titled Fantasy Battle Royale. Unlike the usual mode, this event mode is very “chaotic" and far from being a "prank". But unfortunately, this mode is present as an event mode for a limited time. Where this event mode only takes place from 1 April to 8 April 2020 only.
In this event mode, players will play with three other players in one team. Players will automatically take one of the four available classes, including; Barbarians, Rangers, Wizards, and Paladins. After choosing a class, players are assigned to collect Enchanted Jewelry which is useful for increasing character abilities.
Unfortunately, after the April Fools Day event was over, PUBG removed this exciting event mode.
