There are three utility-military vehicles in GTA Online that will come in handy for any player in this game, they are; Mobile Operation Center, Avenger, and Terrorbyte.

The cost of these vehicles is not cheap, and each of them can only be stored in certain locations, which certainly makes the requirements of having these vehicles will be a lot costly.

Now, we would like to help you to decide which of these vehicles you should buy first, so you won’t make any mistake and regretting your decision after spending so much money to purchase them.

1. Avenger

Mammoth Avenger is a service vehicle released in the Doomsday Heist DLC, and of course, the main requirement to purchase the Avenger is to own a property called the Doomsday Facility.

Many players use the Avenger as an advanced war machine, considering this aircraft has excellent defense and attack. 

Equipped with a deadly turret, the Avenger can serve as an outstanding PvP vehicle to fight enemies in the air. As for wiping out enemies on land, the Avenger also carries 50 bombs that can be upgraded into various types, such as Explosive, Incendiary, Gas, and Cluster.

On the defensive side, the Avenger is capable to withstand around 20 Oppressor MK2 missiles. For comparison, other planes, such as the Lazer and the Hydra, will immediately explode or lose control after one hit from an Oppressor MK2.

Another feature that the Avenger has that the other planes don’t is the VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), which allows it to takes off and lands vertically like a helicopter. On top of that, the Avenger boasts an autopilot feature, so you can operate the turret without the fear of losing control of the plane.

There is one additional upgrade that is significant for you to get, Vehicle Workshop, where you can upgrade other war vehicles such as the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom, Stormberg, and many more.

However, as mentioned before, to be able to purchase the Avenger, you must own the Doomsday Facility first. After getting the Doomsday Facility, you’ll be able to do a Doomsday Heist, which requires two players to pull off.

The payout from Doomsday Heist is quite considerable, but it requires a long process.

2. Mobile Operation Center

In simple words, the Mobile Operation Center (MOC) is a land version of the Mammoth Avenger. To be able to get the MOC, you need to own a Bunker first, because the MOC is part of the Gunrunning DLC.

Although they both have a deadly turret, we can say to operate the turret on the MOC is quite hard as it doesn’t have a 360-degree rotation. Not to mention the limited point of view from the ground, which is understandably less-superior than the airview.

But on the defensive side, MOC can withstand twice as many Oppressor MK2 missiles than the Avenger, around 50 missiles. Once again, as a comparison, to destroy a Khanjali, it would take ‘only’ around 8 of Oppressor MK2 missiles. Therefore, it’s fair to assume that the MOC has an impenetrable armor.

On top of that, just like the Avenger, you can buy an upgrade for your MOC, Vehicle Workshop, that has the same function as the ones in the Avenger.

However, the MOC has one thing that neither the Avenger nor the Terrorbyte has, which is 8 missions given by Agent 14. Once you have completed all of the missions, you will be rewarded with a trade price, or discounted price for several Gunrunning vehicles, such as the Dune FAV, Half-Track, Weaponized Tampa, and Pegassi Oppressor (MK1).

3. Terrorbyte

Of the three utility-military vehicles in GTA Online, the Terrorbyte is the smallest in size. Nonetheless, it’s still expensive, because you’re going to need to own a Nightclub, which has insignificant return without the help of other businesses.

Despite its inferior size compared to the other vehicles mentioned before, the Terrorbyte is quite useful as it allows you to make more money.

Inside the Terrorbyte, there’s a huge monitor where you can perform various activities, such as running Client Job missions, taking care of your businesses, and many more.

The main function of the Terrorbyte is actually to make money, not for war. After all, the Terrorbyte has a quite strong armor. For its weaponry, the Terrorbyte is also equipped with a Turret Station, although it’s not so powerful and has a limited vertical rotation.

Aside from that, there’s a new thing that only this vehicle has, the Drone Station, which allows you to take control of a mini drone that’s barely noticeable. These drones are used by many players to troll others since it has unique features, such as a taser and a self-destruct.

The Terrorbyte also has a Vehicle Workshop, just like the MOC and Avenger. But its Vehicle Workshop can only be used to upgrade an Oppressor MK2 and is the only place where you can make the upgrades for your Oppressor MK2.

Which One Should You Prioritize?

If you look at the property prerequisites, clearly, the MOC should be your first choice, considering Bunker is one of the mandatory businesses that you should grab first. However, in terms of functionality, the MOC is just so-so, and not very popular among the GTA Online players lately.

Of these three vehicles, we highly advise you to get the Terrorbyte first since it has a wide range of functions.

Plus, it has the potential of making a healthy flow of cash for you. Yet once again, to be able to purchase the Terrorbyte, first, you’re going to need to own a Nightclub.

It is quite possible to purchase a Nightclub at any time, but this business needs the help of other businesses to be able to meet its full potential to make a profit.
