For those who haven’t read the chapter yet, you can visit the link provided by Manga Plus here.

Currently, Boruto manga is on high tension. Previously on Boruto Chapter 47, it can be assured that Koji Kashin is the clone of none other than Jiraiya himself.

He attempts to defeat Jigen or Isshiki Otsutsuki at that time. But Isshiki already breaks out from Jigen’s body and receives a full power. Koji must go all-out to defeat him.

The previous chapter ended with an interesting ending! How about this week’s chapter? Have a look!

1. Koji Koshin Overwhelmed Battling Isshiki

Koji Kashin’s surprise attack on the previous chapter was enough to tribulate Isshiki - until this Otsusuki must go out from Jigen’s body.

At the same time, Koji immediately overwhelmed due to the large power gap. Every attempt and attack already delivered by Koji but Isshiki doesn’t feel anything. Moreover, Isshiki also showing his other skills. Aside from changing an object’s size, he can also summon objects from another dimension instantly. Because of his secret jutsu called Daikokuten, Koji must lose half of his left arm.

2. Koji Kashin Is Stronger than Jiraiya?

Kaji Koshin is a clone of Jiraiya. So, it’s not surprising if their abilities are the same, but in Boruto Chapter 48, it is shown that Koji is stronger than Jiraiya.

This ex-Kara member can unleash Jiraiya’s signature Jutsu such as Ranjishigami no Jutsu (Lion Mane’s Technique), Cho Odama Rasengan (Giant Rasengan), Kuchiyose (Summoning Technique), and Sage Mode. Interestingly, Koji’s Sage Mode doesn’t require two elder frogs: Fukasaku and Shima. In this thing, Koji Kashin is more superior to Jiraiya.

3. Koji Kashin Severely Wounded, but Survive

The Daikokuten surprise attack wounds Koji. Luckily before Isshiki kills him, Koji summons a giant frog with Kuchiyose (Summoning Jutsu). The frog swallows Koji and disappears. Probably they go to the Myoboku mountain.

With Koji survives the fight, it can be assumed that he will come back with another plot twist. It’s seen from his facial expression, Koji just realized that he is used Amado and probably later visit him for an explanation, and he’s also yet to encounter Naruto, right? We’ll see about that.

4. Isshiki Otsutsuki Cornered

Isshiki currently already reincarnated completely using Jigen’s body. But, that body cannot hold his massive power and only can survive for more two or three days.

Because of that, he needs to find out a new vessel as soon as possible, or else, he will die permanently.

His perfect vessel is only Kawaki only and currently, he’s in Konoha. At the end of this chapter, Isshiki immediately teleports to his destination and appears right above Konoha;’s gate.

So that’s a recap of Boruto Chapter 48. It looks like Isshiki will go all-out to find Kawaki. Will the Pain’s invasion into Konoha be repeated? We can’t wait for the next chapter to come out!
