Bandai Namco and developer Ganbarion have announced Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra, a team-based action game originally announced as Dragon Ball Project: Multi. Dragon Ball: Gekishin Squadra is currently in development for Switch, PS4, and PS5 along with Windows PC (via Steam), iOS, and Android versions.

As the name suggests, “squadra” which means team or squad in Italian, the game will pit 4 players against 4 other players in a battle. Some of the gameplay can be seen in the video trailer released by Bandai Namco. You can watch the video below!

There will be 3 types of fighters that players can use, namely Damage, Tank, and Technical. The Damage type focuses on dealing damage to opponents with high attack power. Then the Tank type focuses more on defense so they are harder to defeat. While Technical acts as support who supports friends with their various abilities.

Not much is known about this game other than the video trailer released above. Since it will be released on consoles, mobile, and PC, it is likely that the game will support crossplay features, where players can fight other players from different devices.
