Through the TGA (The Game Awards) 2023 yesterday, Bandai Namco announced the release date of Blue Protocol in Japan. This game will be released on December 13th 2023 for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X consoles. Interestingly, this game is also supported by a cross-platform feature that can be played on all three consoles.

This means players can do online co-op on whatever console they play on. Data from players can also be used on other consoles as long as they have connected it with Bandai Namco ID. However, not all data will be moved to other platforms such as Rose Orb.

The good news is, players who don't subscribe to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass can still play Blue Protocol for free. All platforms present the same story. Please remember that Blue Protocol will only be released in Japan, so players who are waiting for the global version must be patient first.

Apart from PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, Blue Protocol can also be played on PC but only in Japan. Blue Protocol will be released globally around 2024. Like Genshin Impact and Tower of Fantasy, this game will be available for free for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
