Scarlet Nexus is a JRPG that was first revealed in June 2020. Bandai Namco finally reveals the release date for the game that was prepared for the next-gen console.

Scarlet Nexus is set to be released globally on June 25, 2021 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. In addition, Bandai Namco also reveals that the anime series will also be aired in the summer of 2021.

The game that will be published by Bandai Namco tells the story of a soldier named Yuito Sumeragi who fights against ferocious monsters with his physic powers.

For your information, the development of Scarlet Nexus was done by the team who previously worked on Tales of Vesperia. So, it is not surprising that the graphics look similar and have Bandai Namco’s signature anime elements.

This game will be set in the future. Where a psionic hormone was discovered in the human brain, granting people powers and extra-sensory powers to change the world. Unfortunately, the mutants known as Others with a thirst for human brains began to attack.

As Yuito Sumeragi, the players will become one of the elite forces, Other Suppression Force (OSF), who are tasked to eliminate Others and protect the humans on Earth.
