Bullet was born 45 years ago in a country with endless war. As a child, Bullet was abandoned by his parents and he was adopted by an army. The young soldier was called a Bullet and he became the army of Douglas Gray numbered 9. Because of it, he called Douglas Bullet.

While being a soldier, Bullet was once betrayed by his own friend. Since then, he no longer believes in other people. While on the battlefield, Bullet was hungry and he accidentally ate Gasha Gasha no Mi, giving him the power to form various objects of iron.

At the age of 14, Bullet had a problem with his commander. He was angry and destroyed his own country then went sailing. Then at the age of 15, Bullet met with Roger and tried several times to kill him but he always failed. Around the age of 15 to 18, finally Bullet became Roger's crew and according to Buggy, his strength was equivalent to Rayleigh.

At the age of 18, Bullet left the Roger Pirates after knew that Roger had contracted an illness. Then at the age of 19, Bullet fought Crocodile, but none of them won.

At the age of 22, Bullet had fought Garp and Sengoku. Their fight was very fierce, but in the end Bullet was defeated and thrown into Impel Down. While in Impel Down, Bullet aspires to become the Pirate King and defeat all Yonkou.

When Luffy infiltrated Impel Down to save Ace, Bullet became one of prisoners who managed to escape from Impel Down. The peak of Bullet strenght was when he at 43 years old. Finally, at the age of 45, Bullet was present as the main antagonist in One Piece Stampede movie. Together with Buena Festa, they held a pirate festival to lure pirates from all over the world.
