At first, the Southern Monk was reluctant to help because he would lose his chance to compete in Hua San Mountain, but in the end, he decided to help Ying Gu's son.

Later, he retracted his good intentions after seeing the red handkerchief that Naughty Old Boy had given Ying Gu, which was wrapped around the baby. Disappointed by this incident, Ying Gu finally killed his own son and is determined to avenge this incident on the Southern Monk. This hit the Southern Monk deeply and he decided to isolate himself and become a monk.
