Making mistakes in Mobile Legends is a normal, humane thing. However, there are a lot of players who often make fatal blunders that lead to them losing games.

On this occasion, Dunia Games would like to give you a list of the most common mistakes that a lot of Mobile Legends players make. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

What are Blunders?

Before we delve deeper, let’s find out what a blunder is.

Merriam-Webster defines blunder as “to make a mistake through stupidity, ignorance, or carelessness”.

Yup, this word is used to describe someone’s reckless act that leads to serious ramifications.

In Mobile Legends, a blunder usually refers to a player’s fatal mistake that leads to a defeat.

Now that we’ve learned the definition of the word, let’s see what are the most common blunders/mistakes that a lot of Mobile Legends players often make.

1. Always Pushing for Team Fights

One of the most common mistakes players in the lower ranks, and even in higher ranks, make is always pushing for team fights. If you’re losing, forcing a war is the last thing you want to do as you’ll certainly lose.

Some players even push for fights when they’re outnumbered (2v5 for example). Since they’re already outnumbered, the fight will certainly be significantly more difficult.

Therefore, it’s a great idea to determine the best situations to go for a team fight. If you’re losing, it’d be wise to keep your distance from enemies and if they go for a fight, just walk away.

Instead, focus on farming from killing minions and jungle creeps until you get your core items, then you can start to fight back.

2. Initiating Wars at the Opponents’ Base

When the match approaches an end, some players tend to push to initiate wars at the opponents’ base. This can be very dangerous, as you may have to take damage from the base/Turrets, and your team may also end up being wiped out, which will give the opposing team a chance to pull off a comeback.

3. Prolonging the Match

This mistake is related to the previous point. Some players tend to extend the match although their victory is within sight.

These players tend to push for more kills by initiating wars at the opponents’ base.

Once your team gets wiped out, it will be a crucial moment for you as the opposing team will have the opportunity to fight back, secure Lord, or even take down your turrets back to your base.

If you’re in this position, it’s always a good idea to focus on finishing the game to avoid getting countered!

4. Losing Lord

Lord is a crucial objective to secure. By securing Lord, your team will be able to push lanes with ease.

So, when Lord spawns, it’s better to focus on securing Lord before the opposing team does.

If the opposing team manages to steal Lord, it can be fatal for you as you need to stop them from pushing the lanes with Lord.

5. Too Invested in Getting Kills

In Mobile Legends, your main objective should be about winning the match, not getting the most kills — as the match ends when one of the teams takes down the other’s base. However, some players are more concerned about getting more kills.

Although it sounds trivial, it can be fatal for you to leave your turrets and focus on chasing down a target for a kill as your opponents will have the chance to split push.

6. Ignoring Objectives

As mentioned above, your main objective in Mobile Legends isn’t getting the most kills, but protecting your turrets and base. Securing Turtle and Lord should also be your priorities.

However, some players still ignore these objectives and actually make the game more difficult for them.

7. Not Pushing After Securing Lord

Once your team manages to secure Lord, you can actually finish the game if you can make good use of Lord. But, many players take it for granted by not pushing the lanes and their Lord goes in vain.

When you have Lord, it’s a great idea to push all lanes with at least one player protecting Lord until it takes down at least one turret.

So, those were the most common mistakes/blunders that players often make in Mobile Legends.
