Recently, there have been some leaks circulating, saying that there are some extra pages to the Attack on Titan manga Volume 34, which ended with Chapter 139. The additional panels show the lives of the islanders years after Eren’s death. Perhaps some of you still have some questions about the events after the incident or just curious about the extra pages.

1. Mikasa Visits Eren’s Grave with Her ‘Husband’

In one of the panels, you can see Mikasa visiting Eren’s grave with a man and a child. According to some theories on the internet, the man is supposed to be Mikasa's husband. And, surprisingly, (fans believe) that it’s Jean!

Many fans make the assumption based on the similar hairstyle of the man, which looks similar to Jean’s, even the shape of his face is quite similar to Jean.

Because of that panel, Mikasa, Eren, and Jean were trending topics on Twitter for a while. What do you guys think about this panel?

2. Armin Parts Ways with Annie

The extra pages of Attack on Titan Chapter 139 also show Armin splitting up with Annie. According to some leaks on the internet, Armin wanted to have children, but Annie thought otherwise as she hates children.

After the exchange, they decided to split up. However, this one’s still debatable, as the only leaks we see so far are mere texts.

3. A Kid Who Looks Like Mikasa

One of the panels from the Attack on Titan Chapter 139 extra pages also shows a mysterious child who shares some resemblances with Mikasa, along with a dog, visiting Eren’s grave.

According to the leaks, the tree where Eren’s buried also holds the power of the sleeping giants, but no further explanation regarding that power.

4. Mikasa Passes Away Wearing Eren’s Scarf

Although she’s married to Jean, Mikasa still shows her “loyalty” towards Eren. As shown on one of the panels where she’s put to rest wearing the scarf that Eren gave her.

5. Dilapidated Buildings on Paradis Island

The extra pages from Attack on Titan Chapter 139 also show the tall buildings on Paradis Island ruined by the war. However, there’s no further explanation regarding the situation on the island.

In my opinion, it’s likely that the Marley-Paradis war continued years after the death of Eren. Does that mean that Eren’s efforts went in vain?
