The RRQ Season 16 roster has been awaited by many fans. After their disappointing run at MSC 2025, where they had been eliminated early in the quarterfinals by SRG, the mystery surrounding RRQ’s lineup has become a hot topic in the MLBB community.
RRQ has had a roster that has been in the process of development. The combination of Dyrennn, Idok, Sutsujin, and Toyy has looked promising. Qualifying for two consecutive international events has already been a strong proof that they have performed well.
Unfortunately, RRQ’s progress on the international stage has still been hindered. Losing to SRG during crucial moments has reminded the Kingdom of what happened in the MPL ID Season 15 Grand Final, where RRQ had come close to winning but fell short.
As a result, the potential of the RRQ Season 16 roster has been heavily discussed. RRQ CEO, Pak AP, has revealed that the roster lock period for RRQ and ONIC has been extremely tight, with the deadline set for August 4, which is today.
Meanwhile, the players had only returned from Riyadh on August 3. This situation has raised questions: Did RRQ have enough time to overhaul their roster, or to find the right new players?
RRQ Season 16 Roster Leak
Pak AP has finally done a live stream following RRQ’s failure at MSC. During the stream, he has spoken openly about many things – disappointment, apologies, and other reflections.
But one of the most interesting points has been his clear statement regarding the leaked RRQ Season 16 roster.
Pak AP has confirmed that there will be significant changes to RRQ’s Season 16 roster. Although the changes might not happen instantly, he has made it clear that there will be gradual adjustments, and even mid-season roster moves remain a possibility.
"Season 16, maybe we will restart, guys. Maybe we will try some new players. Maybe someone will take a short break. While the MPL weeks are ongoing, I, the coaching staff, and the manager will try to find new ammunition to strengthen our team," said Pak AP during the stream.
The current rules now allow roster transfers during the season, starting from week 2 until the final week. Considering RRQ’s very tight timeline leading up to the Season 16 roster lock, it will be very interesting to see what plans Pak AP has prepared for his team.
