In a media interview with Dunia Games (DG), Okta explained that the BOOM Esports team's mentality is that Headstart Points don't significantly impact their performance and they consider everyone equal. Okta admitted that starting the Grand Final from the bottom of the pile has been a similar experience before and seems ready to do it again. "For me, and for my team, our mentality is that we might consider the points (all teams) 0-0. I've been through this before, I've done this before, maybe I can do it a second time," Okta told Dunia Games (DG).

Bringing in a young, new player, Elberyl, didn't hinder BOOM Esports' performance. In fact, Elberyl showed a significantly positive performance as a young star who had just entered the PMPL Grand Final stage. Okta added that each BOOM player helped each other to continuously strengthen communication and support Elberyl's mood and mentality.

"Basically, in every match, after every match, or before every match, we always talked to support or improve his mood and mentality, as if it were just a regular tournament. "(The technical issues) didn't affect us at all. In fact, when other players or teams started to feel sleepy, we became even more enthusiastic!" he concluded.
