Since the dawn of piracy started in One Piece, many people started to set sail into the seas to become a pirate and find One Piece left by Gol D. Roger. Like so with bounty hunters or also known as pirate hunters. This time, Dunia Games would like to discuss the 8 strongest bounty hunters in One Piece known so far!

1. Johnny

Johnny is a character introduced in the Arlong Park arc. He appeared in Arlong Park arc to Baratie. It was also explained that he had worked with Roronoa Zoro as a pirate hunter. Johnny also calls Zoro "senpai" or senior which indicates that he is Zoro's junior at the dojo where he trains.

Johnny is also known as a well-known bounty hunter, but he only operates around East Blue and hunts minor pirates for the bounty. Johnny himself isn't really that strong and he might be one of the weakest pirate hunters in One Piece.

2. Yosaku

Yosaku is Johnny's best friend who was also introduced at the same time as him. Just like his partner, Yosaku is also targeting small, unknown pirates. After years of being a pirate hunter, he began to be known even though he was not one of the strongest in the world.

Yosaku is also quite skilled with swords, but when compared to other pirate hunters, he is still relatively weak. Even though he is almost useless, he still has a role in Baratie, such as taking care of Zoro who was badly injured by Mihawk's slash.

3. Miss Wednesday

Miss Wednesday or Vivi was first introduced when the Straw Hat crew started entering the Grand Line. When they encountered Laboon, Vivi showed up to catch the whale and bring it to Whiskey Peak. Vivi failed to carry out her task, but she asked for help up to Whiskey Peak.

Initially, Miss Wednesday was known as a pirate hunter who worked under Crocodile, like the other members of Baroque Works. Then it is revealed that she is the princess of Arabasta who is in disguise to find out the figure who planned to rule her kingdom.

4. Zoro

Zoro is a swordsman in the Straw Hats and also one of the main characters in One Piece. He has a goal to become the strongest swordsman in the world by defeating Dracule Mihawk. Zoro is very strong and even though he is a pirate at this point, he was also a pirate hunter once.

After leaving the Shimotsuki Dojo, he became a bounty hunter in order to survive. Zoro was then caught by Morgan who later met Luffy and became his first crewmate in the Straw Hat Pirates.

5. Daz Bones

Daz Bones is also known as a former pirate hunter in West Blue. At some point, he joined Crocodile and formed Baroque Works. He then becomes the second strongest after Crocodile and takes the pseudonym Mr. 1.

Mr. 1 mastered the Supa Supa no Mi ability which makes him a knife man. He can summon blades from various parts of his body. His dangerous powers were shown to have nearly killed Zoro in their fight. No wonder he was once the most dangerous bounty hunter.

6. Jean Ango

Jean Ango is a character introduced in the Dressrosa arc. Like other fighters in the Corrida Colosseum, he fought to get the Mera Mera no Mi. There, it was revealed that Jean Ango was a serious pirate hunter until he picked up various scattered weapons.

Even Jean is also targeting pirates who escaped from Impel Down. Years later, Jean Ango sent escaped Impel Down prisoners back to the prison. Even so, Jean Ango is no match for Luffy because he can be defeated very easily.

7. Franky

Although he once worked as a shipwright with Tom and Iceberg, Franky later became a pirate hunter. He defeated pirates while protecting Water Seven. From there, he gained the bounty prize to survive.

As a pirate hunter, Franky's strength is quite dangerous. He has modified his body so that he becomes a cyborg. Franky then joined the Straw Hats and his bounty hunter nickname began to be forgotten.

8. Jeet dan Abdullah

Jeet and Abdullah are two characters introduced in the Dressrosa arc, in the Corrida Colosseum to be precise. Just like other fighters, they aimed to get the Mera Mera no Mi. It was revealed that both of them were pirate hunters and had problems with the World Government such as bombings.

Jeet and Abdullah always fight together. In the Colosseum, they showed good teamwork. They weren't that strong compared to the other pirates who were also participating. After the Dressrosa arc, they joined the Straw Hat Grand Fleet.
