Virtual YouTuber or commonly referred to as VTuber is a content creator who uses an anime-style avatar while doing a live stream. Besides playing games, usually a VTuber also hosts a drawing, chatting, and singing live stream. As if not wanting to miss the hype train, the gaming laptop brand, Micro-Star International or MSI, has introduced its own VTuber named Mei Mihoshi.
The debut of this VTuber figure is revealed from the official MSI Japan page which announced their VTuber. The MSI Vtuber even has her own social media account, such as on Twitter and the YouTube channel for Mei Mihoshi.
Through this page, MSI Japan also explained the profile of VTuber Mei Mihoshi. The making of the MSI VTuber character was done by a 2D character designer and Studio Posse for the 3D modeling. She is described as a student from Micro Star Gakuen who is part of the notebook PC class.
It was also explained that Mei Mihoshi's birthday is on August 4th and has a height of 115 cm. In addition, she is also a member of MSI's esports committee by having an armband with the MSI logo on his arm.
The plan is that MSI's VTuber will debut by uploading a video via YouTube on December 4, 2021. It has not been explained what content will be brought by VTuber Mei Mihoshi. Of course, it is very interesting what MSI's VTuber will do apart from promoting MSi’s products.
