Gaming Youtuber BrandonKent, also known as BKent, has received threats through his personal chat that his house would be attacked. This was the result of his careless mention of the name Mbah Priok during a Mobile Legend live stream on Monday.

“Someone even sent a message to my private chat claiming to be Mbah Priok and saying they will attack my house,” he said while speaking with Habib Ali in an effort to apologize.

Aside from the threats, BKent's colleague also explained that many accounts took advantage of the situation and claimed that BKent deliberately insulted Mbah Priok.

“There was no intention whatsoever,” BKent defended himself.

The case of BKent began with a live stream he conducted on his Youtube channel. At that time, BKent was experiencing a losing streak. As usual, BKent often does a gimmick whenever he experiences a losing streak, such as pretending to call a player or pretending to be angry with a friend.

At that time, BKent decided to do the gimmick of calling a dukun (shaman), and in one of his jokes about the dukun, the name Mbah Priok came up. Some of the viewers of his live stream were angry and reminded BKent that Mbah Priok is a religious figure and not a joke.

BKent immediately ended his game and decided to apologize to all parties who felt insulted during the live stream.

The next day, he also decided to visit the tomb of Mbah Priok and meet with the extended family of Mbah Priok at Gubah Mbah Priok to personally apologize.
