The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Indonesia Season 17, or MPL ID Season 17, may still be a few days away. Nevertheless, each team has already begun preparing their squads, including players, coaching staff, and other aspects. So far, several teams have begun making changes to their squads. Several teams have already brought in new players, while others have retained their strengths from the previous season. Ultimately, we will see what each team's new strengths are.

One example is Bigetron by Vitality, or BTR. At the BTR CON event at Epicentrum, Kuningan, South Jakarta, management officially announced Bigetron by Vitality's roster for the upcoming MPL ID Season 17. The players and coaches have already been announced, but to strengthen their internal team, Bigetron by Vitality has made a breakthrough. One special figure has been brought in for MPL ID Season 17; however, he is not a player, but rather a new member of the coaching staff.

BTR Panda Joins Bigetron by Vitality as Technical Director

On the same occasion at BTR CON, Bigetron by Vitality officially introduced its new Technical Director, BTR Panda. As a coach, we've all heard of him: Brian "Panda" Im Chang-Rok. Panda was previously known as a coach in the competitive MPL Philippines (MPL PH) scene for several seasons. He is renowned for his expertise and has led teams to championships such as ArkAngel (MPL PH S3) and RSG Philippines (MPL PH S9), as well as the MSC 2022 championship.

BTR Panda's presence on the team is certainly crucial. He will play a vital role in supporting the players and coaching staff of Bigetron by Vitality on their journey to success in the new MPL ID Season 17. Panda stated that he is ready to bring a new culture to support the team's improved performance by working alongside the coaching staff, including Theonael (Coach), Erpang (Assistant Coach/Analyst), and Taroreh (Team Manager).

"Please welcome Coach Panda!! Coach Panda, as Technical Director, has arrived to assist the MLBB Coaching Staff and is ready to develop Bigetron by Vitality's MLBB division even further! Troopers, let's give a big shoutout to Coach Panda," wrote the management. At the event, BTR Panda also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from the Troopers, as well as Edwin "Starlest" Chia, CEO, for entrusting him with this role.
