Surprises are starting to emerge ahead of the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Indonesia 2026 Spring season. Preparations by each invited team are also being refined. Changes in strength are an integral part, and the PMPL ID 2026 Spring transfer window is quite interesting to follow. The most widely discussed and spotlighted team is Alter Ego Ares. Recently, various rumors have been lurking about roster changes for the God of War.
One of them is the rumor of BTR Ryzen joining the Alter Ego Ares team. Indeed, from season to season, rumors of Ryzen's return have always been a topic of conversation among fans. On one occasion, BTR Ryzen was even caught "seemingly" in the Alter Ego Ares Gaming House (GH) area, playing alongside Rosemary. Speculation abounded, but ultimately, it all came down to one truth: Will BTR Ryzen actually join the God of War squad?
BTR Ryzen Clarifies His Decision to Join Alter Ego: "That's My Decision!"
In the end, it wasn't Ryzen, but his teammate Zuxxy, who joined Alter Ego on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Zuxxy's announcement surprised many, as news of the "Tribal Chief" joining was barely discussed by the public. In fact, it didn't stop there. The joining of Jimmy and Zuxxy prompted Alter Ego Ares management to set their squad for PMPL ID 2026 Spring without BTR Ryzen.
In response, Ryzen clarified the reason for his decision to withdraw from joining Alter Ego Ares. First, he dismissed accusations that he failed the team's tryout. "Many people said my tryout failed, I didn't pass, and all sorts of things. Actually, Alter Ego originally wanted to bring in six players: me, Rosemary, Krypton, Snape, Zuxxy, and Jimmy," Ryzen said. He also revealed that he and Zuxxy passed the tryout.
"Bagas (Zuxxy) and I were wondering. How did we both pass the trial? I was also confused. While many people said we failed, I didn't fail. Alter Ego wanted to bring six players," Ryzen added. He then emphasized that it was his decision to stay at Bigetron by Vitality and pass up the opportunity to join Alter Ego. Ryzen explained that his heart wanted to join Alter Ego, but his mind was set on staying at Bigetron.
"This is my decision. I could choose between staying (at BTR) or Al Ego. But there's something I can't say, I can't explain here. The point is, in the end, I chose to stay. Honestly, from the bottom of my heart, this decision was hard, really hard," he explained. Finally, Ryzen revealed that he was truly torn between staying at Bigetron or moving to Al Ego. "I've already told Badru, the bottom line is that my heart is with Alter Ego, but my mind is (staying) at Bigetron, so it's hard," he concluded.
The Origin of the Rumor of BTR Ryzen "Joining" Alter Ego
As previously mentioned, the rumor of BTR Ryzen joining Alter Ego began with a moment where Alter Ego star Rosemary played alongside Ryzen at Alter Ego's Gaming House. This rumor then became a hot topic during the PMPL ID 2026 Spring preseason, suggesting that Ryzen might be making a comeback and playing with Alter Ego. Ryzen didn't deny the fact that he was indeed participating in a trial.
This means that the moment captured some time ago wasn't just a casual visit to Alter Ego's Gaming House. At least, that's what it could be. However, Ryzen ultimately chose to stay despite his desire to join his former Bigetron teammate, Zuxxy, who has been announced as a player to complete the Alter Ego Ares roster for PMPL ID 2026 Spring. Ryzen chose to stay at Bigetron with an unknown fate that will be announced later.
BTR Ryzen Cancels Joining, Here's Alter Ego Ares' Roster for PMPL ID 2026 Spring
With Ryzen's decision to cancel his joining Alter Ego Ares, Alter Ego management has finally announced their roster as follows:
- Juventino Ryan "Rosemary" Jeremy Rolos
- Zhafir Krypton "Krypton" Eria
- M Fathyn "Snape" Zilhaq Syah
- Muhd Hazim "Jimmy" Irfan Kamarudin
- Made Bagas "Zuxxy" Pramudita
- Noval Adrian "HzlnutS" Putra - Coach

As you can see, the Alter Ego Ares roster has added two players: Jimmy, a star from Malaysia, and Zuxxy, a PUBG Mobile legend from Indonesia. For your information, they previously made changes by releasing Juvanda "ALVA" Fahrezy, Sheva "Moana," and analyst Verdyansyah "MxMoore" Putra. These changes are expected to be Alter Ego Ares' best hope for success, especially in the upcoming PMPL ID 2026 Spring. Not only at the national level, but also on the international stage.
