Genshin Impact Childe or Tartaglia, is one of the top Fatui members and is the number 11 of the Eleven Harbingers. His gameplay and combat style are different from other characters.

Childe uses a bow as his main weapon and engages in a long-range battle. After activating his Elemental Skill, Childe attack with two Hydro daggers and dishes melee attacks.

Childe DPS Build 

DPS Childe focuses on his Auto Attack from his Elemental Skill. Childe’s biggest DPS is from his Elemental Skill: Foul Legacy: Raging Tide that transforms his weapons into two blades dealing Hydro DMG. so your weapon and Artifact have to support this type of gameplay.

Weapon

Most Recommended:

Skyward Harp (5✰): Increases CRIT DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.

Rust (4✰): Increases Normal Attack DMG by 40% but decreases Aimed Shot DMG by 10%. With this weapon, Childe’s Normal Attack will increase - including his Normal Attack in the Melee Stance (Elemental Skill).

Other Option:

The Viridescent Hunt (4✰): Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 40~80% of ATK as DMG to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 14~10s.

Windblume Ode (4✰) - F2P: After using an Elemental Skill, receive a boon from the ancient wish of the Windblume, increasing ATK by 16~32% for 6s..

Artifact

Like other DPS characters, Childe’s best Artifact combination is:

• Timepiece: ATK % ;
• Goblet: Hydro DMG Bonus ;
• Crown: Crit Dmg/Rate %.

The recommended sub-stat for each Artifact is Crit rate %, Crit dmg %, ATK % dan ATK.

Heart of Depth Set:

• 2 set: Hydro DMG Bonus +15%;
• 4 set: After using an Elemental Skill, increases Normal Attack and Charged Attack DMG by 30% for 15s.

Talent Priority

You need a lot of resources to increase talent level while it takes a lot of time to collect them. Here is the talent priority for Childe:

Childe Sub-DPS Build

Sub-DPS Childe relies on Elemental Burst: Havoc: Obliteration. Yes, Sub-DPS Childe will only spam his ultimate skill. Every time his Elemental Burst is up, switch to Childe, use his Elemental Skill, then use his Elemental burst to deal tremendeous damage. 

So, your weapon and Artifact should support his Elemental Burst.

Most Recommended:

Skyward Harp (5✰): Increases CRIT DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.

The Stringless (4✰): Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24%. 

Other Option

Favonius Warbow (4✰): CRIT hits have a 60~100% chance to generate 1 Elemental Orb, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12~6s.

The Viridescent Hunt (4✰): Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 40~80% of ATK as DMG to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 14~10s..

Artifact

You should focus getting these Artifacts for Sub-DPS:

• Timepiece: ATK % ;
• Goblet: Hydro DMG Bonus ;
• Crown: Crit Dmg/Rate %.
