Guzzlordex is one of the most feared Ultra Beasts in Pokémon TCG Pocket thanks to its massive attacks and ability to control the tempo of the game. With Grindcore attacks that can disrupt the opponent's energy setup, and Tyrannical Hole that can deal a massive 120 damage, Guzzlordex is a serious threat in every phase of the game.

The most effective combo occurs when Guzzlordex is paired with Nihilego and Poison Barb, creating a barrage of pressure through the stacking poison effect. Nihilego provides the More Poison ability that adds 10 damage from poison every turn, while Poison Barb makes opponents automatically get poisoned when attacking Guzzlord.

To maintain the rhythm of attacks and game continuity, this deck utilizes Celesteela as a pivot. With her Ultra Thrusters ability, Celesteela allows Pokémon to switch without paying retreat costs, an important feature for resetting Guzzlordex or pulling it to the bench when injured.

At the right time, Lusamine can be used to take two energy from the discard pile, allowing Guzzlord to attack again with Tyrannical Hole without having to wait an extra turn. This strategy makes the Guzzlordex deck very solid for mid to late game play, with great KO potential and full control over the flow of the match.
