In Genshin Impact Update 1.4, Venti returns in the limited character banner. Who has been targeting the Anemo Archer since his first appearance in the early Genshin Impact release day?

As we all know, Venti wields a bow and has Anemo Vision. Many agree that this young man is a Support because of his ability in dealing Crowd Control (CC).

Elemental Skill: Skyward Sonnet deals tremendous damage. When the skill is charged, Venti will launch an upward wind to make your character fly.

Elemental Burst: Wind's Grand Ode is the best Crowd Control skill in the game. The Damage over Time (DoT) dealt by the skill is quite powerful, making Venti one of the top-tier characters in Genshin Impact.

If you already pull Venti but unsure with how to build him, then you are in the right place. The writer will share the recommended Venti build from his weapon to Artifact.

Venti Support Build

As mentioned before, Venti is a Support because of his excellent CC. But the young man with the real name of Barbatos can deal tremendous DMG so he can be used as a Sub-DPS too.

Venti’s CC and main DMG came from Elemental Burst: Wind's Grand Ode. The skill pulls in small enemies, makes them fly, and continuously cuts them for several seconds. The Elemental Burst deals Anemo DMG, but when combined with another element, Its damage increases with the element's DMG.

Don’t forget about Venti’s Elemental Skill. There are two types of Skyward Sonnet: tap and hold. Skyward Sonnet (tap) deals Anemo DMG at the enemies’ location and knocks them up. While Skyward Sonnet (hold) deals good Anemo DMG, knocks the enemies up, and allows your character to fly.

With those skills, your priority when building Venti is increasing his attack, including, ATK, Crit Rate, Crit DMG, and Anemo DMG.

Weapon

Most Recommended

The Stringless (4✰): Increases Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG by 24~48%

As described, The Stringless increases Elemental Skill and Element Burst that are crucial for Venti.

Skyward Harp (5✰): Increases CRIT DMG by 20-40%. Hits have a 60-100% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.

Venti needs Base Attack, Sub-Stat, and bonus Crit DMG from Skyward Harp. Other effects are just additional DMG.

Other Options

Windblume Ode (4✰): After using an Elemental Skill, receive a boon from the ancient wish of the Windblume, increasing ATK by 16% for 6s.

The Viridescent Hunt (4✰): Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 40~80% of ATK as DMG to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 14~10s.

Artifact

Although he is a Support, Venti’s main stat is similar to most DPS, Crit Rate%, Crit DMG%, ATK%, dan ATK.

The recommended Artifact lineup is:

• Timepiece: ATK% ;
• Goblet: Anemo DMG Bonus%;
• Crown: Crit Rate% > Crit DMG% > ATK%.

The best Sub-stat for each Artifact is Crit Rate%, Crit DMG%, ATK% dan ATK.

Viridescent Venerer Set:

• 2 set: Anemo DMG bonus +15%;
• 4 set: Increases Swirl DMG by 60%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s.

Viridescent Venerer + Noblesse Oblige:

• 2 set: Anemo DMG bonus +15%;
• 2 set: Elemental Burst DMG +20%.

Talent Priority

You need a lot of resources to increase talent level while it takes a lot of time to collect them. Here is the talent priority for Venti:

1. Wind's Grand Ode (Elemental Burst);
2. Skyward Sonnet (Elemental Skill);
3. Divine Marksmanship (Normal and Charge Attack).
