Zhongli Sub-DPS Build

If you choose to play Zhongli as a Sub-DPS, then he is your Ultimate spammer. This build focuses on Geo DMG and Elemental Burst: Planet Befall. Why? Because Zhongli’s ultimate deals tremendous DMG, you can spam the skill thanks to the low energy cost and cooldown. The DMG of Planet Befall can be raised by increasing Zhongli’s max HP.

Staff of Homa (5✰), Sub-stat Crit DMG%

• HP increased by 20~40%. Additionally, provides an ATK Bonus based on 0.8~1.6% of the wielder's Max HP. When the wielder's HP is less than 50%, this ATK bonus is increased by an additional 1~1.8% of Max HP.

Skyward Spine (5✰), Sub-stat Energy Recharge% 

• Increases CRIT Rate by 8~16% and increases Normal ATK SPD by 12%. Additionally, Normal and Charged Attacks hits on opponents have a 50% chance to trigger a vacuum blade that deals 40~100% of ATK as DMG in a small AoE. This effect can occur no more than once every 2s.

Other Options

Favonius Lance (4✰), Sub-stat Energy Recharge% 

• CRIT hits have a 60~100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 12~6s.

F2P - Blackcliff Pole (4✰), Sub-stat Crit DMG%

• After defeating an opponent, ATK is increased by 12~24% for 30s. This effect has a maximum of 3 stacks, and the duration of each stack is independent of the others.

Artifact

The recommended Artifact arrangement for Sub-DPS Zhongli is:

• Timepiece: HP% / ATK%;
• Goblet: Geo DMG Bonus%;
• Crown: Crit DMG% / Crit Rate%.

The best substat for each Artifact is Crit Rate %, Crit DMG %, HP %, HP, ATK % dan ATK.

Noblesse Oblige Set:

• 2 set: Elemental Burst DMG +20%;
• 4 set: Using an Elemental Burst increases all party members' ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

Noblesse Oblige + Archaic Petra Set:

Zhongli Support Build

If Sup-DPS Zhongli is an Ultimate spammer, the support role makes him a shield spammer. Support Zhongli focuses on Elemental Skill: Dominus Lapidis (Hold) that grants Jade Shield buff.

Jade Shield is a Geo shield that absorbs 150% DMG to all Elements and Physical DMG. The character with Jade Shield reduces the enemy’s Elemental RES and Physical RES by 20%. The effect can’t be stacked.

Deathmatch (4✰), Sub-stat Crit Rate%

• If there are at least 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 16~32% and DEF is increased by 16~32%. If there are less than 2 opponents nearby, ATK is increased by 24~48%.

F2P - Black Tassel (3✰), Sub-stat HP%

• After Taking Elemental Particles, increase Normal and Charge Attack by 20% for 5 seconds.

Artifact

The recommended Artifact arrangement for Support Zhongli is:

• Goblet: HP%;
• Crown: HP%.

Tenacity of the Millelith Set:

• 2 set: HP increase 20%;
• 4 set: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20% and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Tenacity of the Millelith + Retracing Bolide Set:

• 2 set: HP increase 20%;
• 2 set: Increases Shield Strength by 35%.

Retracing Bolide Set:

• 2 set: Increases Shield Strength by 35%;
• 4 set: While protected by a shield, gain an additional 40% Normal and Charged Attack DMG.
