Last April Fools’ Day, Lords Mobile players were fooled by the hoax news about the tier 5 troops update. But since the end of February, the news turned out not to be just a rumor. Coinciding with its fourth anniversary, tier 5 troops or T5 have been officially released to become the main firepower for the fans of Lords Mobile!

T5 Overview

While previously Lords Mobile players were already quite cocky by having T4 at the base, now, the Lords are being challenged even further with the arrival of T5. Tier 5 troops are a stronger version of the T4. While a troop of T4 provides 36 Might, a T5 can provide a better stat of 48 Might! 

T5 troops can be obtained through several steps. First, players are ought to build a new building called Lunar Foundry. The building is required to craft Luminous Gear, a gear necessary to upgrade your T4 to T5 troops. Each type of T5 troops must be unlocked via research in an Lv. 25 Academy.

New Resources and Items for T5

Aside from the building and gear, T5 troops also need new resources called Lunite, that’s produced in a brand-new building, Lustrous Mine. Not only used to make Luminous Gear, but Lunite is also crucial for healing T5 troops via the Infirmary. 

Also, Lords Mobile provides the players with a new item called Speed Up Craft. Similar to most hasty items, Speed Up Craft reduces crafting time, in this case, it’s the process of crafting the Luminous Gear. 

Discounts in Research Rush

The arrival of T5 is also followed by a special event called Research Rush. The highly-anticipated event from its initial release not too long ago will give players a cut on time and resources required for certain researches in the Academy. Unlocking troops from any tier will be much easier and much faster with the event.
