Having a large fan base is certainly a remarkable achievement for any team in the competitive esports scene. This includes the KPL Honor of Kings teams in China, which we know have sizable fan bases and communities. In Indonesia, only a few teams boast such large fan bases. It's no wonder all teams are eager to learn how to build a community to move forward together.

This includes the Dominator Esports team in the Honor of Kings competitive scene. Co-founder Sergio Immanuel expressed his admiration for how the KPL Honor of Kings teams have built their communities. With such a massive roster, managing such a large number is certainly no easy feat. What are Sergio's views on how the KPL Honor of Kings teams have built their communities?

Dominator Esports Co-Founder Reveals How KPL Honor of Kings Builds a Community, Like a Football Team!

Sergio Immanuel, representing Dominator Esports from Indonesia, was present to witness the grandeur and excitement of the KPL 2025 Grand Final in China. Along with the other team CEOs/Co-Founders, Sergio also attended various roadshows to gain a deeper understanding of how the KPL teams operate and their prominence as a major part of the Honor of Kings competitive scene.

Reflecting on the KPL Honor of Kings teams, Sergio stated that all teams receive tremendous support from the grassroots community. "From my perspective, the (esports) organization is very well supported and very adequate for the community," said Sergio Immanuel. He further noted that within the KPL Honor of Kings teams, there's a unified, interconnected community, similar to a football team.

"So, the entire fanbase is encompassed; the team, organization, and fanbase are interconnected. For example, like a football team, it's truly the fanbase that makes people truly fans of the team. There are some esports organizations globally, but they don't encompass everyone," Sergio added. "Meanwhile, in China, it's not just one or two organizations, but all organizations (doing) something like that," he concluded.

It's no wonder Sergio admires the way the KPL Honor of Kings teams have built communities like this. And of course, this encourages Dominator Esports to continue building their community in the Honor of Kings Global competitive scene going forward. It's truly an interesting perspective.
