The Hoenn Celebration Event is here with Gen III Pokemon in Pokemon GO. Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip, Taillow, Loudred, Meditite, Roselia, Aron, among others, will spawn more frequently in the game. And, if you’re in luck, you can also get Bagon and Beldum from the 5km eggs.
The Hoenn Event takes place from January 19 at 10 A.M to January 24 at 8 P.M (Local Time). Make sure to keep an eye out on the duration as there are certain things that you need to pay attention to during this event.
The first thing is the return of the most powerful Steel-type Moveset, Meteor Mash, for Metagross. This Legacy Moveset has been gone too long since its initial appearance on Beldum Community Day a couple of years ago.
After the arrival of the Elite Charged TM, you can have the chance to get the moveset outside the Beldum Community Day. However, it’s not that simple to obtain the Elite Charged TM, you need to get it as a reward from Ranked in Pokemon GO for reaching a certain Rank, or you have to spend money to purchase it.
But this time, with the Hoenn Celebration event, you get another chance to acquire this moveset! Especially for Trainer who just joined the game or missed out on the Beldum Community Day. You just need to evolve your Metang (the first evolution of Beldum) into Metagross during the event.
Metagross with Meteor Mash will easily be your strongest Steel-type attack damage dealer in Pokemon GO. Highly useful in Raid Battles against Legendary Pokemon as well as in PvP Battles, Meteor Mash Metagross is a must-have Pokemon for any Trainer.
On top of that, in this event, you’ll also see the Legendary Groudon and Kyogre on Tier 5 Raid Battles. Don’t forget to complete your Timed Research Tasks as you will be rewarded with the Legendary Rayquaza with the new Flying-type moveset, Hurricane.
If you have amazing luck, you can get the Shiny forms of those Legendary Pokemon. Watch the following Dunia Games’ video, hosted by Professor Ado, for more details.
