Japanese Dorama and variety show fans get ready because, in this month, GEM TV will bring a list of new dorama series. Not just one or two, the joint channel of Sony Pictures Television (SPT) and Nippon TV, airs 4 exclusive Japanese series for its fans in Indonesia.

OUR DEAREST SAKURA
Starring Mitsuki Takahata, Our Dearest Sakura follows Sakura’s journey growing up on a secluded island. In the Spring of 2009, Sakura left for the biggest construction company in Japan, located in Tokyo. She expects to fulfill her dream of constructing a bridge in her hometown, where she grew up one day. She doesn’t hesitate to tell her friends about that dream.
However, Sakura is being shunned by the other trainees due to her rural origin, but it doesn’t take too long for her friends in her group to know the real Sakura. During her training days there, despite the President’s constant patronizing approach towards the employees, Sakura’s still persistent with herself.
Starring as Mitsuki’s opposite, is Mackenyu Arata, the rising actor who has been quite active in the industry. He commented on his role in the drama, “I play the role of Aoi Kijima. Quite different from Sakura, he’s able to find hidden meanings from things and reckless. He is a beginner, 22 years of age. He holds something while he’s still alive. What’s that and how will that be uncovered? You may watch the show to find out.”

Starring Takahiro Hamada and a couple of members of various Johnny’s Junior group, Class Crush follows the story of 8 high school boys known as 'Yarogumi'. These boys find it hard to express themselves because even though they go to a co-ed school, they’re outnumbered by the girls. Desperate, they approach the girls and come out with various different ideas and help each other to overcome their fears. From wearing cute mascot to cosplays, they try to impress every girl they met. Will these boys succeed and find love in their lives?
