Motion IME Festival officially announced that it is joining a big event with WCG (World Cyber Games). Titled “Motion IME x WCG Festival 2025”, the event will be held at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on December 12-14, 2025.

Motion IME, Indonesia's leading pop culture festival, is known for its series of K-POP performances, cosplay, animation, subculture exhibitions, and vibrant community experiences. Meanwhile, WCG, a global leader in creator-led gaming festivals, features esports-style competitions, creator-driven gameplay and immersive fan participation programs.

Charity Motion IME x WCG 2025

Like last year, Motion IME Festival will once again do charity segmentation, where the event will distribute donations taken from a portion of ticket sales revenue.

Last year, Motion IME Festival successfully raised a total of IDR 2,658,261,000, with details of funds collected from ticket sales, Motion Ime Korcom, Larissa Rochefort, Linnichi, and Erria Eri.

Reflecting on the previous year, this year Motion IME is targeting the charity figure to reach Rp 5 billion. “Our charity goals and targets (Motion IME x WCG Festival 2025) are around Rp 5 billion, and we will focus on education in Maluku,” said Irliansyah Wijanarko as Business Development and Director of Motion IME Corp.

• Creator co-op stage for fans and influencers 
• Global gaming expo, pop culture stage, cosplay competition and more

The two festivals bring their distinct DNA - WCG with its competitive gaming and creator energy, Motion IME with its massive pop culture and community reach. Combined, they promise a festival scale and cultural impact unprecedented in Southeast Asia.

Last year's Motion IME featured renowned K-POP artists such as VIVIZ, while WCG hosted dozens of internationally renowned game and content creators.
