The Criminal Mastermind Challenge is a heist achievement that can be unlocked in GTA Online, with a reward of approximately $10,000,000 for each participating player. Up until now, only Apartment Heist and Doomsday Heist that have the Criminal Mastermind Challenge. Rockstar is yet to add this achievement for the Casino Heist.

Now, although the Criminal Mastermind Challenge is quite popular in the GTA Online community, it turns out that only a few players who can complete this challenge. For the Steam platform alone, only 1.9% of all players managed to unlock the Criminal Mastermind achievement.

This indicates that the Criminal Mastermind Challenge is one of the most difficult achievements to unlock in GTA Online.

In addition to that, there are several other in-game awards you can get either from the Apartment Heist or Doomsday Heist:

First Time (Reward $100,000) Unlocked after completing the finale mission for a heist for the first time.

Another Perspective (Reward $100,000) Unlocked after completing all setup and finale missions on the first-person perspective. The heist leader has to set their camera setting into FPP when they first set up the heist.

Elite Challenges (Reward $50,000 - $100,000) Unlocked after completing every heist with certain prerequisites.

All In Order (Reward $500,000 - $1,000,000) Unlocked after completing every heist in order.

Loyalty (Reward $75,000 - $1,000,000) Unlocked after completing all heists (Apartment/Doomsday) with the same team of players from start to finish.

Criminal Mastermind (Reward $750,000 - $10,000,000) Unlocked after completing every heist, both Apartment and Doomsday, on Hard difficulty, in order, with the same team members without a single death from any member during the challenge.

Based on the requirements mentioned above, it’s fair to assume that you can get the other in-game awards, such as First Time, Another Perspective, All in Order, and Loyalty while completing the Criminal Mastermind Challenge. So, if you managed to pull that off, you will end up with more than $12,000,000 bonuses.

‘Criminal Mastermind’ for Apartment Heist

The Apartment Heist is rather unique since the Fleeca Job is a two-players mission, while the rests are four-players missions. Many players tend to get stuck in the first mission, thus thwarting their Criminal Mastermind progress.

Now, it’s actually pretty simple to overcome this issue. Let’s take an example of player A, B, C, and D, who want to complete the Criminal Mastermind for Apartment Heist. So, on the Fleeca Job, Player A and B take on the mission together, but the same goes for Player C with D. Once both teams have completed the mission Player A, B, C, and D can regroup and complete the other heist missions to complete the Criminal Mastermind achievement.

Keep in mind that for the Apartment Heist, the reward you will receive is bigger than the one you’ll get from the Doomsday Heist, $1,000,000 each for All In Order and Loyalty, and $10,000,000 for Criminal Mastermind.

‘Criminal Mastermind’ for Doomsday Heist

Since the Doomsday Heist can be done with two-four players, the in-game awards for Loyalty and Criminal Mastermind depend on the number of players participating in the Doomsday Heist. Here are the rewards you will receive for Loyalty and Criminal Mastermind in Doomsday Heist:

Loyalty II (Reward $75,000 ) Unlocked after completing all of the Doomsday Heist missions in order with a team of two players.

Loyalty III (Reward $175,000) Unlocked after completing all of the Doomsday Heist missions in order with a team of three players.

Loyalty IV (Reward $375,000) Unlocked after completing all of the Doomsday Heist missions in order with a team of four players.

Criminal Mastermind II (Reward $750,000) Unlocked after completing every Doomsday Heist mission in order, with a team of two on Hard difficulty, with no deaths.

Criminal Mastermind III (Reward $1,750,000) Unlocked after completing every Doomsday Heist mission in order, with a team of three on Hard difficulty, with no deaths.

Criminal Mastermind IV (Reward $3,750,000) Unlocked after completing every Doomsday Heist mission in order, with a team of four on Hard difficulty, with no deaths.

So, it can be concluded that for the Doomsday Heist, the cash reward would be much bigger if you complete the challenge in a team of four. Although completing the Criminal Mastermind challenge in a team of two players is reasonably more difficult than four.

But keep in mind that you will also get other challenges, such as First Time, Elite Challenge, All In Order, and Loyalty when completing the Criminal Mastermind in Doomsday Heist.
