Anime lovers can celebrate because Crunchyroll is now providing the remake of the Rurouni Kenshin anime, complete with English dubbing. This good news was announced via the official Twitter account in English for the latest anime adapted from the work of Nobuhiro Watsuki.

This anime was first broadcast on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block on July 6, 2023. And the good news is, this anime will run for two seasons consecutively. The second season began on October 5, 2023. Crunchyroll will stream the series as each episode premieres in Japan.

This Rurouni Kenshin anime is a remake anime adaptation of the main manga by Nobuhiro Watsuki. Some of the famous voice actors involved in this project include Soma Saito who plays Kenshin Himura, and Rie Takahashi as Kaoru Kamiya. Taku Yashiro plays Sanosuke Sagara, while Makoto Koichi voices the character Yahiko Myojin. Yuma Uchida plays Shinomori Aoshi, and Saori Onishi plays Megumi Takani. The character Hajime Saito is played by Satoshi Hino.

This anime was brought to you by Hideyo Yamamoto, a director who has contributed to various famous anime projects such as Strike the Blood, Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka, and Cells at Work! Code Black. The character designs were prepared by Terumi Nishii, while the story script was written by Hideyuki Kurata.

The accompanying music was composed by Yu Takami. The opening theme song, "Hiten," is sung by Ayase and R-Shitei (Ayase✕R-Shitei), while the ending theme song, "Kissaki" (Sword's Edge), is performed by singer and songwriter, Reol.

"Rurouni Kenshin" manga was first published in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1994 and consists of 28 volumes. This manga is very successful and has sold more than 72 million copies worldwide. The story follows the journey of Kenshin Himura, a former assassin who tries to find a new life without violence.

In addition to the manga and anime, "Rurouni Kenshin" has also been adapted into a live action film, as well as a stage musical performed by an all-female musical theater group called Takarazuka Revu
