Most anime and manga fans are familiar with the storyline of Shingeki no Kyojin, or Attack on Titan. The series presents the conflict between man aided with Titan power - a gigantic creature that looks like a human that brings destruction. In Attack on Titan, Titan itself originated from a human and there are 9 Titans with unique ability. These Titans are called Titan Shifter. 

A normal Titan no longer has its common sense. They will destroy everything and eat every living thing they find, including humans. But not with Titan Shifter because their intelligence is still with them. Also, Titan Shifter is a deadly weapon for anyone that has it.

9. Cart Titan

From its name, we can guess the main work of this Titan Shifter. Cart Titan is not meant for fighting, but it’s mainly used for transporting tools and other things.

Its main function is supported by its weird body. Walking on all fours, Cart Titan is quick, agile, and can maneuver very well.

Currently, Cart Titan is owned by Pieck Finger. The previous owner is unknown and the future owner is still unknown.

8. Female Titan

Female Titan has a similar ability to other Titan Shifter. Like Founding Titan and beast Titan, Female Titan can control normal Titans. It can harden its body part like the Armored Titan. Annie can maximize the full potential of Female Titan because her body is similar to the user.

Annie Leonhart is the only known owner of Female Titan. She is currently confined inside a hardened crystal.

7. Beast Titan

If most Titans looked like a human, then Beast Titan is the only one shaped like an animal. The shape of the Beast Titan depends on the user. For Zeke, his Beast Titan looks like a giant ape. 

Its ability is an attribute to its animal counterpart. Thanks to Zeke’s nobility, Beast Titan also has the ability of Founding Titan so he can transform Eldians into Titan by screaming.

6. Jaw Titan

From the name, we can guess that Jaw Titan’s main strength is its powerful jaw and claw. This Titan is the fastest out of the nine Titan Shifters.

The current owner of Jaw Titan is Falco Griece. Falco obtained Jaw Titan from Porco Galliard after eating him. Parco himself obtained Jaw Titan after eating Ymir.

5. Armored Titan

This Titan Shifter looks the coolest out of the other Shifters. The body of Armored Titan is covered by hardened skin making this Titan look like it is wearing armor.

Reiner Braun is the only known user of Armored Titan.

4. Attack Titan

The first time Attack Titan appeared, it made the plot of Attack on Titan more intriguing.

Its most interesting ability is to look at the memory of the past and future owner.

Eren Yeager is the current owner of Attack Titan. Previously, Eren’s father, Grisha Yaeger is the owner of Attack Titan, inheriting it from Eren Kruger.

3. War Hammer Titan

War Hammer Titan’s ability is structural hardening (usually a hammer) made from a hardened Titan flesh. It’s most unique attribute is that War Hammer Titan can be controlled remotely so the user is not inside the nape.

War Hammer Titan is passed down for generations in the Tybur family, Eldian nobles living in Marley, and its last owner is the younger sister of Willy Tybur. But it’s currently in the possession of Eren.

2. Colossal Titan

Colossal Titan is the first Titan Shifter that appeared in Attack on Titan and leaves a tragic memory for the inhabitants of the Paradis island, including Eren, Mikasa, and Armin.

This Titan is 60 meters tall. Its ability aligns with its massive size. Colossal Titan can emit steam from its body that can melt humans.

Colossal Titan was initially owned by Bertolt. After the Scout Regiment defeated Bertolt in Shingashina, the Colossal Titan is now in possession of Armin.

1. Founding Titan

Founding Titan is a Titan Shifter with the greatest ability. Its main ability is Titan Creation by transforming Subjects of Ymir, Titan Control, memory manipulation, and anatomical manipulation.

Ymir Fritz was the first person to have the powers of Titan and the owner of Founding Titan. Eventually, her powers split into 9 Titan Shifters.

Founding Titan was passed down for generations in the Fritz family until Reiss. But Grisha stole the power, and now Eren owned the strongest Titan.
