The MLBB World Championship is the largest international Mobile Legends tournament, which has been held five times. The Indonesian team, EVOS Legends, won first place in the competition, while the other four competitions were won by the Philippine team.

The biggest tournament in the Mobile Legends scene began in 2019 and was held in Malaysia. By 2026, the M Series had been held seven times, with Indonesia hosting the most recent edition.

To date, only two countries have emerged as winners: Indonesia and the Philippines. The Philippines secured six titles (M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, and M7), while Indonesia claimed the remaining one (M1).

M1 World Championship Winner: EVOS Legends

The 2019 M1 World Championship was a historical event for Indonesian fans. EVOS Legends won the first series and became the inaugural champion after beating RRQ Hoshi in the finals.

M2 World Championship Winner: BREN Esports

The M2 World Championship took place in 2020, and was won by BREN Esports from the Philippines, with Burmese Ghouls as the runners up. Unfortunately, the Indonesian representative, RRQ Hoshi, had to settle for third place.

M3 World Championship Winner: Blacklist International

The third series of the M World Championship took place in 2021. At the time, Blacklist International was incredibly dominant throughout the championship, up to the grand final. Blacklist International went up against ONIC PH in the finals and beat their fellow Filipino team in a 4-0 triumph.

M4 World Championship Winner: ECHO Esports

The M4 World Championship took place from 1-15 January 2023. The fourth series was won by ECHO, after successfully overthrowing Blacklist International in a score of 4-0 convincing victory in the finals. Once again, Indonesia had to settle for third place.

M5 World Championship 2 - December 17, 2023

For the first time, M-Series is present in Manila, Philippines. A country that currently has many M-Series champions.

In M5 itself, the hot round of the Grand Final brought together ONIC Esports from Indonesia with AP Bren from the Philippines. Although both teams had equalized the score 3-3, AP Bren was the one who managed to steal a point in the seventh game. With this result, AP Bren managed to emerge as the winner of M5 with a score of 4-3 over ONIC Esports.

This result makes AP Bren the first team to win two M-Series titles at this time. It is also a team that has won in its own country.

M6 World Championship 2 - December 15, 2024

The M Series returns to the Axiata Arena, Malaysia. This fact reminds us of the history of the first time the M Series was held with EVOS Legends emerging as world champions for the first time. The Indonesian representative, Team Liquid ID (TLID) made it to the grand final. Unfortunately, the Indonesian team was once again the runner-up because they were defeated by Fnatic ONIC PH aka FNOP who were very OP (overpower). FNOP managed to become world champions after defeating TLID with a score of 4-1.

M7 World Championship (January 3-25, 2026)

Jakarta, Indonesia, had the opportunity to host the M Series for the second time. Here, Indonesian team supporters had high hopes for Alter Ego, who successfully advanced to the grand finals against Aurora Gaming (PH). Unfortunately, Alter Ego was unable to meet the expectations of Indonesian fans. Aurora PH secured the M Series title for the sixth time for the Philippine team with a decisive 4-0 score in the final match.
