Charizard Ex

Charizard Ex is also one of the cards that you must have in Pokemon TCGP. This card is an evolution of Charmander and Charmeleon. With 180 HP, it can survive most opponent attacks, at least 2-3 turns.

Then if you have collected enough Fire Energy, Charizard Ex can burn its opponent in one attack. Crimson Storm has 200 damage which can finish off most Pokemon. If this Charizard has appeared in the arena and you have enough Fire Energy given to it, your victory is guaranteed.

Pikachu Ex

Pikachu is a Pokemon who is the main mascot of the Pokemon series, and also the main character in various Pokemon anime series. Therefore, it is only natural that it is one of the best cards in Pokemon TCGP. As an Ex card, Pikachu only has 120 HP, not as big as most other Pokemon Ex.

However, Pikachu is very strong in a deck containing Electric-type Pokemon. Circle Circuit attacks can deal 30 damage times the number of Electric Pokemon in the reserve. You can deal the highest damage of 90 with only 2 Electric Energy. For Retreat, Pikachu also only needs 1 Energy payment.

Tier A

Articuno Ex

Articuno is one of the first generation legendary bird Pokemon. Ice Wing's attack may be ordinary, but Blizzard can be quite difficult for its opponents, especially if Articuno has an Elemental advantage. This attack will deal 80 damage to the opponent's active Pokemon and 10 damage to the reserve Pokemon.

This attack can be combined with Giovanni, especially when fighting against Fire-type decks. Articuno Ex will be a nightmare for those who play Fire-themed decks.

Mewtwo Ex

Mewtwo Ex can be played directly to the arena without having to be evolved because he only has 1 evolutionary form. Mewtwo has quite high HP, which is 150 at the beginning of the game. Psydrive attacks can defeat most Pokemon because they deal 150 damage.

Mewtwo Ex will be more dangerous if combined with Gardevoir. You can collect Psychic Energy faster with Gardevoir's passive skill. That allows Mewtwo to launch attacks faster to defeat his opponent.

Moltres Ex

Moltres is another legendary bird Pokemon besides Zapdos and Articuno. With Inferno Dance, Moltres can give a maximum of 3 Fire Energy to Pokemon in the reserve, provided that you have to get 3 Tails when flipping a coin.

This can be a good combo with Charizard who needs a lot of Fire Energy to launch his strongest attack. Although Fire-type, Moltres is also not weak to Water-type attacks. He is only weak to Electric-type attacks. This allows him to survive longer when facing Water-themed decks.

Tier B

Some of the cards in B-tier include Dragonite, Venusaur Ex, Pidgeot, Zapdos Ex, Kabutops, Arbok, and others. Venusaur is in tier B because it is the worst starter compared to Blastoise or Charizard.

Then for Zapdos Ex, the Thundering Hurricane attack must be gacha first before it can deal damage to the opponent, making it uncertain to bring victory. The cards in tier B are still okay to play, as long as you have to have more luck.

Tier C

In addition to the cards above, the rest can be considered as C-tier cards. For example, Electrode, Golem, Rapidash, Raticate, and others. They are rarely used by players, except at the beginning of the game. Of course, pro players will not use them at all in the match.
