The official site in English for the anime game Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Memoria Freese announced that all international versions of the game, also named DanMachi: Memoria Freese, would end service on February 28th 2024. Crunchyroll, Sumitomo Corporation, and GREE launched an English-language version of the game DanMachi: Memoria Freese in the United States and Canada in March 2018.

The game DanMachi: Memoria Freese first made its debut in Japan in June 2017 and was nominated as the best mobile game according to Google Play 2017 in the Japanese division. Combining visual novel elements, group-based RPG exploration, and combat, DanMachi: Memoria Freese also offers an "interaction mode" where players can talk to in-game characters and change their outfits with the collaboration of J.C. Staff.

Yu Shiomura launched the manga adaptation of the game DanMachi: Memoria Freese on the Manga UP app! owned by Square Enix in 2021 and ended the series with the fourth volume on November 25th 2023. Yen Press released the manga in English, with the second volume released on December 12th 2023.

The fourth season of the Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Daro ka IV Shinshō Meikyu-hen anime premiered in Japan in July 2022. HIDIVE broadcast this anime with the title Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? IV. Dungeon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Daro ka IV Shinsho Yakusai-hen, a new arc in the fourth season, premiered on January 5th while a fifth season has also been confirmed.
