1. Heist

Last 2014, Rockstart Games released the Heist mode update for GTA Online. In this mode, you will experience an identical Heist mission like in the single-player mode, where you will play with other players in a small team that have a different contribution. You are either asked to protect or take away an objective.

The mission also allows you to open new firearms, vehicles, and items -- and meet iconic characters from the single-player mode. The success rate of every Heist determines the amount of money you get.

In this mode, you need to pay the initial cost to start a heist as the host. To start a team, invite three of your friends and work together for preparation. Ask friends that you can communicate well and also skilled so you can shave the time.

2. Special & Vehicle Cargo

If you have made enough money from Heist missions, the next thing you can do is by doing the active mission Vehicle Cargo in GTA Online or the vehicle business. In this mission, you will build an organization and become the CEO of SecuroServ from the menu. To start this mission you will need an office. When you meet both conditions, then you need to purchase a vehicle warehouse. When all conditions are met, you can find the target vehicle in Source Vehicle. Pick the car you will steal and drive it back to your warehouse.

Be careful when driving the vehicle back because every damage the vehicle taken will increase its repair cost and the profit you get. You can use the laptop in the vehicle warehouse to export vehicles and make a profit.

3. VIP Work

Besides the two methods above, you can also do the VIP Work mission, Sightseer or Headhunter. These two missions will give you $25.000 or one missions + RP and can only be done once you are a VIP. after becoming a VIP you can also do Sightseer and Headhunter. Headhunter is killing the targets spread out on the map, while Sightseer is taking a package using the Sightseer app on the smartphone, use a helicopter so you can get to the destination easier.

4. Gunrunning/Motorcyle Club

The next thing you can do to make easy money in GTA Online is by doing the Gunrunning mission. This is a passive income business that allows you to make a huge profit without working. You have to be the VIP or CEO of SecuroServ for this mission. After that, you need to purchase a bunker in a strategic location in Los Santos.

In the bunker, you can manage everything you need such as Resupply, Steal Supplies, or Buy Supplies. When the bunker’s supply is met, then you can manage the staff to focus on research or weapon production. Then sell the product to Los Santos to gain profit.

5. Time Trials 

If you are still new at GTA ONline, you can start making money by doing Time Trial missions. To do it, you only need to go to the purple marker on the mini-map. Complete the time trial when you have done enough preparation and try to get to the goal faster. There’s no checkpoint in this mission so you can choose any routes.

6. Air Freight Cargo/Nightclubs

Air Freight Cargo is one of the businesses in GTA Online that can generate a lot of money. To run this business you need to become the VIP or CEO of SecuroServ. Then use the laptop in your hangar to sell the cargo.

7. Premium Race

The last thing you can do to make money is by racing. You can find the golden wheel icon on your mini-map to locate the premium race. When the lobby has eight players, you will pay $20.000 automatically. Complete race and try to at least finish at the third place to make a profit. The winner will make $100.000, the runner-up will take $30.000, and the third-place will take $20.000.
