The official Twitter account for the two-part anime movie adaptation of Inio Asano's Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction manga revealed a teaser on Tuesday, December 19th 2023 for the first movie in this upcoming project along with a new poster as well.

In the main voice cast, singer YOASOBI, Lilas Ikuta (also known as "Ikura"), will provide his voice for main character Kadode Koyama, while singer ano will voice main character Ouran "Ontan" Nakagawa.

Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction cast includes Atsumi Tanezaki as Kiho Kurihara, Miyuri Shimabukuro as Ai Demoto, Saeko Ooki as Rin Hirama, Azumi Waki as Futaba Takemoto, and Ryoko Shiraishi as Makoto Tainuma.

Apart from that, in the anime film Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction there are also other popular voice actors such as Miyu Irino as Keita Ōba, Kouki Uchiyama as Kenichi Kohiruimaki, Taito Ban as Naoki Watarase, Junichi Suwabe as Hiroshi Nakagawa, and Kenjiro Tsuda as Nobuo Koyama.

Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction will premiere on March 22nd and April 19th 2023 for the first and second movies, respectively. Studio Production +h. was responsible for the production of this anime, which is the first full anime adaptation of Asano's work.

Tomoyuki Kurokawa, who was previously involved in several popular works such as Psychic Detective Yakumo, Break of Dawn, and Dragonar Academy, will direct the movie Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction.

Reiko Yoshida, who has worked on anime projects such as A Silent Voice, Violet Evergarden, and Tamako Market, is handling the script writing and supervision. Nobutake Ito is the character designer and main animation director, Mika Nishimura is the art director, and Taro Umebayashi is the music composer.

Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction manga tells the strange daily lives of ordinary high school girl Kadode Koyama, her friend Ouran Nakagawa, and other people in a world where a giant aircraft carrier appears over the city of Tokyo.

Asano began the series in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits magazine in April 2014 and frequently delayed publication of the manga since July 2014. The manga ended in February 2022, with the final volume released in March 2022.

Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction inspired a 3D animated promotional video in September 2020 and won the Best General Manga award at the 66th Shogakukan Manga Awards in January 2021.

Viz Media released this manga in English, along with Asano's other series such as Solanin, What a Wonderful World!, Downfall, and I. Several of Asano's works have also been adapted into live action movies.
