Through her interview on the Dreadxp.com website, Bloober Team's Chief Marketing Officer, Anbna Jasinska, opened up about what her team was doing in working on Silent Hill 2 Remake. According to him, Bloober Team will continue to follow the original material from Silent Hill 2. However, it is possible that several updates will be implemented in the game. The update that Anna meant was limited to updating some aspects that were considered outdated.

One of the updates that we all already know is the change in the character's point of view. Silent Hill 2 Remake no longer uses a fixed camera but a third person camera. The goal is to make players more immersive when playing the game.

Silent Hill 2 Remake will be released exclusively on PS5. After the exclusivity period ends, the game will also be coming to PC.
