Erlan’s blunders have become the center of attention. EVOS have had to sacrifice two matches—both ending in losses—because of individual mistakes.

EVOS have failed to secure a win in Week 4 after falling 1-2 to both Dewa United Esports and RRQ Hoshi. In both matches, EVOS could have walked away with victories had they been more patient and precise in their teamfight planning.

In both series, Erlan has made repeated blunders during the third game of each match. His Moskov has made unnecessary moves when the team has actually been in a leading position.

It hasn’t been surprising that Erlan’s mistakes have triggered a wave of reactions from fans. Many have criticized and questioned his decisions. Some have even immediately called for him to be replaced after his fatal errors cost the team the matches.

One of Erlan’s opponents last weekend, Maybee, who has performed exceptionally well and successfully dodged two key engagements from Erlan that turned into blunders, has finally spoken up.

Maybee Has Not Wanted to Say Much About Erlan’s Blunders

Dunia Games have asked Maybee about the moments when Erlan got trapped twice by Badang’s wall during their match.

Maybee has not wanted to say much. According to him, the incidents have not been entirely Erlan’s fault nor solely due to Maybee’s own skills—but instead have involved another key player: Muezza, who has played the roaming Badang and had a major impact.

“We haven’t really focused on Erlan’s gameplay. It was just really GG cover from Muezza,” said Maybee during the press conference.

Maybee has been consistently excellent throughout MPL ID Season 15. Even though his team has remained inconsistent, Maybee has exceeded expectations individually. He has even been named Rookie of the Week in the fourth week of MPL ID S15.

On the other hand, Erlan has been under tremendous pressure. Will he be able to turn things around and perform at his best again? Only time will tell.
