Despite his busy schedule of performing and making music with NOAH, Ariel still finds time to do his hobby of playing online games. He revealed that this hobby started at an early age, even admitting that when he was in high school, he would go to internet cafes to play online games with his friends. He still does his hobby to this day. And on Episode 45 of DG CHEAT (31/08), hosted by Punipun, Ariel revealed the games that he often spends time playing and his current favorite.

For his current favorite game, Ariel revealed that he loves Genshin Impact, an open-world ARPG from HoYoverse. "So far, Genshin remains my favorite. As it's the game I often play and it doesn't interfere with my schedule, I can play it anytime I have the chance."

Genshin Impact is famous for its gacha system. And just like other Genshin players, Ariel also enjoys doing gacha pulls in this game. When asked about his luck doing gacha, he answered with a laugh. "It depends, sometimes I get annoyed with Mihoyo. Sometimes it's good. I once made a wish at 3 in the morning, for no reason in particular. It only took one try, and I ended up getting the red-haired sword user, Diluc. So, sometimes I have great luck, sometimes I end up with bad draws."

Just like any Genshin Impact player, Ariel NOAH also has a mainstay line-up team in Genshin Impact. Lately, he's been using Ayato more as his DPS, then Raiden Shogun as Sub-DPS, then Kazuha and Zhongli. In addition to these characters, he also has another team consisting of Ayaka, Xingqiu, Kazuha, and Diona as the Healer/Support.

“Currently, I often play Ayato DPS, Raiden Shogun as the Sub-DPS, and then Kazuha, and Zhongli. But my other team consists of Ayaka DPS, then Xingqu, Kazuha too, and then Diona as the healer."

Ariel also admitted that playing Genshin Impact does not take up much of his schedule, so this game can still be played regularly as long as you are smart about managing your time. “..the one game that I play most often is actually Genshin Impact. Because I can leave it running idly as there are daily (missions) in Genshin. Once you have reached a higher level, it's just about completing the daily missions. Once I'm done completing the daily, it's time to collect resin, and (other resources) I can just leave it running idly. It doesn't take long, at most half an hour."

Apart from Genshin Impact, Ariel also revealed that recently, he had his eyes on a game called Super People, an FPS battle royale game made by Wonder People, which is slated for a release later this year. It's currently in beta, but it's available for us to play. "But I'm really, really interested in Super People, it seems like it's really complicated to play," Ariel said. According to him, this game is very complex, and he gets excited by the challenge of exploring the new game.
