The Digimon Con 2022 online event which was recently held by Bandai Namco began with a discussion about the Digimon game. This involved the Chief Producer of the Digimon series, Kazumasa Habu in a question and answer session. One of the questions posed to him was whether Digimon World would get a remake or a remastered version.

“We have received many requests from fans to make a remake or remastered version of Digimon World. But at the same time, I also think which one is better, remake or remastered,” said Habu.

If only a remastered version was made, Habu wouldn't mind too much because now he could work on it.
