Stardew Valley has become one of the most popular games for casual gamers who prefer chill and peaceful games to relieve stress from work. ConcernedApe, the game developer, recently made a breakthrough by releasing a board game version of Stardew Valley.
Just like the video game version -- Eric Barone put a lot of dedication into developing the board game. Along with the designer, Cole Medeiros, ConcernedApe created this board game in more than two and a half years!
The board game shares the same elements and the gameplay as the video game version, where you will see the villagers, plants/crops, livestock and animals, fishing, mining, and many more.
So, if you’re curious about the board game version of Stardew Valley, here are some pictures of it.
This board game is designed for one to four players with an age rating of 13 and above. And, to reach the one-year mark in this board game, you will spend at least 45 minutes per player. However, you can adjust this if you want to play at a faster pace.
Stardew Valley: The Board Game is currently only available in the United States. Concerned Ape also mentioned that he’s still “testing the waters”. If the response is positive, he will gradually make the game available in other countries.
