The long wait has finally been answered as HoYoverse is collaborating with Ufotable. The collaboration confirms that an anime adaptation of the game is finally being made. Ufotable is an anime studio that has worked on several popular anime titles, such as Fate Series, Tales Series, God Eater, and Demon Slayer. The following is the concept video trailer for the Genshin Impact anime adaptation:

Through the 3-minute-long trailer, HoYoverse announces a surprise to its fans. The video begins with Paimon flying through a shady forest, before the camera pans out at the light behind her. The video also features beautiful locations and the distinctive aesthetics of Genshin Impact.  

The anime-style trailer also features Genshin Impact's signature music produced by the anime studio Ufotable. The video trailer manages to capture the beauty of Tevyat, especially Mondstadt, and is very well-made by Ufotable. Since it's going to be a long-term collaboration, the anime will cover so many interesting things from the Genshin Impact lore, which can only usually be learned by fans through Archon missions or in-game events, so now those who don't play the game will be able to follow the story.

Aside from the announcement for the anime adaptation, during the 2nd anniversary celebration of Genshin Impact, fans can also enjoy other things in the v3.1 update. Such as the trailer video “King Deshret and the Three Magi”, and the concert teaser titled “Melodies of an Endless Journey”.
