Square Enix recently announced the release date of the offline version of Dragon Quest X which is unfortunately only available in Japan. At the same time as streaming, Square Enix also announced version 6 of Dragon Quest X Online. This offline version will be released on February 26, 2022, in both physical and digital versions.

In the promotional video, we can see the basic premise of the story as well as some of the main characters. Nelgel attacks the main character's village and sends them to a temple where their souls are put in different bodies. Here's the promotional video!

Those who don't want to play Dragon Quest X as an MMORPG can finally play it in the offline version. There is no further news on whether this game will be released outside Japan. Square Enix has confirmed that this game is region lock. Later, Dragon Quest X will also collaborate with Final Fantasy XIV.
