On March 26 2025, we will have the latest Genshin Impact update. Genshin Impact Update Version 5.5 will bring two new characters, namely Varesa and Iansan. Both of them come from the Abundant Jaya warrior tribe. They can run quickly and jump over various terrains in Natlan.

Varesa is a 5 Star Electro Character armed with Catalyst who can trigger the "Fiery Passion" status through Plunging Attack. In this status, his Electro DMG will increase and he can cast a special Elemental Burst and consume less Energy. To quickly enter this status, press Varesa's Elemental Skill, then Normal Attack to immediately launch a Plunging Attack. 

Additionally, his unique talent can also restore Phlogiston after party members consume food. Although he is fierce on the battlefield, he is actually very relaxed in his daily life, as revealed in the Tribal Story.

As Varesa's trainer and one of the six heroes, Iansan is a 4 Star Electro Character armed with a Polearm. He can provide powerful support by increasing the active Character's ATK and restoring the HP of his party members. 

His Elemental Burst can increase the active Character's ATK even when he is in the back row, and his ATK buff will increase as the party member's movement distance increases.

In addition, when a party member triggers Nightsoul Burst, Iansan will get a Warming Up effect which allows him to continuously restore the active character's HP for a certain period of time. 

In the Request Event for the first half of Version 5.5, Varesa and Iansan will be present along with Xianyun, followed by Xilonen and Venti who will return in the latter half.
